The site is accessed off a drive and down a grass avenue with cars parked at the end. The woodland path to the site is then a few metres away.
We recommend that marquees etc are constructed at least 3 days before the event, when the ground is dry. Ironically it is better to set up on a dry day and have the event on a wet day, than the other way around.
As an open air venue amplified music needs to finish at 11pm and we ask that guests leave before 1am.
Unfortunately not as there are horses in the surrounding fields. We also don't allow Chinese lanterns due to the fire risk.
Being an outside venue there is always the risk that the British weather throws a curve ball. We would recommend you work with your suppliers to prepare for this. For example make sure you have outdoor coir matting to make pathways across the grass and potentially a covered walkway from the end of the woodland path to the marquee.
Yes, we can provide a 80cm firepit and wood. However, it will be your responsibility to ensure fire safety regulations are followed.
Yes, we are have had dogs and even a horse attend the big day. We do ask that we are notified before the event and pets are only brought by the couple getting hitched.
Unfortunately it is not. Couples usually completed the legal side of their union before the reception. We have had humanist ceremonies at the venue which works particularly well.
Removal of all waste is the responsibility of you and your suppliers. All waste must be removed by the end of the day following the event. Any costs associated with removing waste will be taken from the initial deposit.
